What The Chuck happened?!? Don’t forget, chuck muth named Halseth the #1 Conservative in Nevada. After all, muth gushed, “Elizabeth Halseth. She’s young. She’s attractive. She’s intelligent… She’s also a fire-breathing conservative! How could a relationship steeped in such unbridled admiration have soured so drastically?

It has barely been two years since chuck muth was falling all over himself praising Elizabeth Halselth as Nevada’s ‘Number One Conservative’. High praise indeed from the self-proclaimed protector of all things conservative (except of course for his push for a new services  tax and promoting gay marriage).

Surely chuck muth, the famed “campaign doctor” and “professional political consultant with 17.5 years of experience”  knows a rocked ribbed conservative when he sees one. So how did muth go from Halseth’s leading fan to an obsessive Halseth detractor? As Paul Harvey used to say, stay tuned for the rest of the story.

A talented, albeit neophyte, politician falls victim to a political snake oil salesman. After initially falling for his hard sell tactics, she quickly realizes that he is much more of a liability than an asset and she decides to end the relationship.

Unfortunately, chuck muth has a very poor track record of ending political relationships, and he would be damned if Elizabeth Halselth was going to leave him. If he couldn’t be part of her political career, then he would do everything possible to destroy it.

While the confidential details of the Senator’s personal life were ready made fodder for a confidant turned turncoat like muth, the real reason for his over-the-top venom towards Senator Halselth is not much more complicated than this:

Chuck Muth felt spurned. This rejection turned to anger. An enraged chuck  muth become a relentless cyber bully. It was chuck muth’s obsessive harassment that Halseth says led to her resignation (a  resignation incidentally which gave liberals control of the Nevada State Senate by one seat).

You see, chuck muth wants to look smart, so he has gotten hair plugs! He is going from this…

Looks like ‘major donors’ have finally had enough of toxic chuck muth. How can chuck keep the political con game going? Of course, play the victim. Genius!

In a recent ‘muth half truths’ post, chuck bemoans the fact his attacks on conservative office holders in Nevada were seen as “out of step”.  Muth candidly admits that as a result of his crusading he is losing “major donors”, but no matter what happens he  “won’t shut up”!

Attaboy chuck! You stand up and be heard! In fact, please continue your bi-polar, fork-tongued babbling so your remaining ‘major donors’ will see your outlandish and inaccurate claims for what they are.

Just one request. After you lose all remaining credibility (and donors) don’t play the victim.

Happy Thanksgiving! Time to ‘cut and paste’ another person’s work.

It’s Thanksgiving, and if you live on Planet Muth that means you get to lift a 1,200 word essay on the pilgrims. In a predictable and pathetic blog post chuck muth uses America’s favorite holiday as an excuse to “borrow” Rush Limbaugh’s classic portrayal of how and why the pilgrims first celebrated Thanksgiving.

Of course, chuck muth never needs an excuse to steal someone else’s work and pawn it off as his own. He has a history of regularly plagiarizing, misrepresenting or otherwise abusing fair use doctrine.

Again, it’s Thanksgiving and there are football games to watch so don’t over-analyze why chuck muth habitually lifts other people’s intellectual work. It would be easy to dismiss chuck muth as lazy, but that can’t be it, after all we know chuck invests hundreds of hours into trolling  facebook pages and scraping e-mail addresses for his spamming operation. You have to admit he does ‘work’.

Perhaps the answer to why he rips off others work is self-evident, chuck muth just isn’t smart enough to come up with his own original and inspiring thoughts.

Nobody trolls the internet like chuck muth. Don't be surprised if he's spamming your facebook fans right now.

Nevada’s most prolific internet troll is alive and well. On the latest muthtruths.com post chuck drones on about how many fans a recently announced candidate in Northern Nevada has on his Facebook Fanpage. Then after a lame attempt to ridicule the person running for public office (something muth did unsuccessfully), he sends the fans of that candidate spam e-mail.

Memo to chuck muth: Your toxic methods of attempted character assassination are ineffective and ultimately become a liability for your ‘clients’. Maybe that’s why Mike Roberson, Robert Uithoven and even Dan Burdish are trying to distance themselves from you.

While the SOS is pursuing those alleged violations of the law, maybe your long and “accomplished” record of trolling the web will become part of the investigation. It would be real interesting to see what a subpoena of your computer turns up.

He just sent out another spam e-mail from Citizen Overreach with the following headline:

URGENT: HELP US FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE MOST PARTISAN, ANTI-CONSERVATIVE, SECRETARY OF STATE IN NEVADA HISTORY! Help us shove the First Amendment right down Ross Miller’s throat!

The really ironic thing is he may actually have a legitimate beef, Nevada’s Secretary of State may be the most anti-conservative SOS in Nevada state history, but chuck is such a bipolar political hack that nobody cares.

Chuck Muth has repeatedly burned the Tea Party (remember his attacks on Sharron Angle?) and establishment Republicans (hello Bill Raggio!) not to mention the damage he’s done to his own political allies (Elizabeth Halseth, Ed Goedhart, Richard McArthur, etc.)

The biggest problem for chuck muth right now is that he has burned too many bridges (or tried too hard to sell them).

I won’t bore you blind with the details, instead let me just provide the links and you can see for yourself. Oh and the most endearing part of chuck muth’s continual keystone cops style of “political communication” is that the guy then brags about his incompetence as if he is selling the emperor new clothing.

1) chuck muth accuses Orrin Johnson (PoliticsInStereo.com) of plagiarism, only to delete the post when it becomes obvious muth “got his facts wrong”.

2) chuck muth publishes a newspaper “editorial” without disclosing he was being paid for his opinion. A real reporter called him on it, and then muth spent 1,500 words trying to justify his deception. — plus he attempts to throw the newspaper under the bus for opening the “wrong e-mail”.

3) chuck muth improperly uses his non-profit organization, “Citizen Overreach” to campaign for a candidate that is now certain to lose.

If it were just one or two blunders over the course of say one year or even every six months you might give muth the benefit of the doubt, but chuck muth is so incompetent that he literally steps in it every single week.

Still chuck muth continues to try and get paid by donors, clients & “subscribers” in spite of his demonstrable ineptness.

Truly chuck muth has no shame, and that has been his political undoing.

What's the difference between chuck muth taking money for the Brooklyn Bridge or scamming donations for 'Mount Ronald Reagan'?

Sometime after being fired by the American Conservative Union, chuck muth decided he would return to Nevada and scam money from contributors for something called the “Mount Reagan fund”.

This phony chuck muth initiative was sold to donors as the vehicle for changing Mount Charleston to Mount Reagan.

So after a couple of years of milking President Reagan’s name, what does chuck muth have to show the donors who actually believed muth was either sincere and/or competent to get Ronald Reagan’s name on Nevada’s 8th highest peak?

…well chuck?

And no, buying banner ads on your own blog doesn’t count as “results”.

Why would chuck muth be reaching out to mining & gaming? Two reasons:

1) They have money, and chuck always attempts to worm his way into other people’s money (remember the Mt. Reagan scam?).

2) Muth thinks he can promise them cover with the tax pledge signers if a brand new service and/or gross receipts tax is introduced in 2013.

You see by using chuck muth’s twisted logic you can argue that as long as the “overall tax burden is the same”, then it’s okay to introduce NEW TAXES on someone else.

Even though chuck muth’s own failure as a political candidate and consultant is very well documented, muth continues to bully his way into others’ political campaigns which more often than not end in disastrous results (see MUTH KISS OF DEATH).

chuck muth is kind of like that insurance salesman from groundhog day who ends up selling the policy only because he’s so annoying, not because he is competent.

Richard McArthur is the latest victim of chuck muth’s political malpractice. You will recall chuck recently had his panties in a wad because Michael Roberson and the State Senate Caucus have completely stopped listening to him.

Of course you knew that could only be half the story. The punch line is chuck muth seems to be working on McArthur’s campaign, but he didn’t disclose it when he was “reporting” on twitter. What’s worse, chuck muth used a non-profit to ‘help’ McArthur and the non-profit should not even legally be involved with political campaigns!
